Description
A beer produced from barley and whole wheat, and seasoned with dried Curacao orange peels, hops and coriander seeds, which give it its special fruity taste and a delicate sourness. A special beer first developed by monks in the town of Hoegaarden in Belgium that is produced by top fermentation at a high temperature for a short time and is not filtered. The remaining yeast in it causes a secondary fermentation that takes place in the barrel and gives the beer its cloudy appearance and its light color with whitish yellow tones.
